My name is Shay, I'm 26 years old, born & raised in Hawke's Bay. I have had cats my whole life and love the company they give. I also had pet rabbits for around 12 years. I have petsit from time to time for my friends and family's cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and even a turtle

My family also used to run a cattery, at which I was an attendant for approximately 4 years before we closed down due to the deaths of my grandparents who owned it. So I am very comfortable working with cats. We also accommodated the occasional bird and rabbit too

I love meeting new animals and giving lots of play time, cuddles and attention, or even just hang out with pets who are more independent or less social

I can administer injections, topical (cream) medication or oral medication in food

I'd love to house sit or pet sit for you, or walk your pets to get a change of scenery from home and keep active while I'm at it

For home visits I will spend 30 minutes to an hour at your home with your pet, and I'm happy to water plants and bring mail in (etc) as required. I am available for this mornings, afternoons and evenings

For house/pet sitting I will spend the afternoon/evening and overnight at your home, I'm currently only available for up to 3 nights/4 days per booking. I am careful to make sure both your house and pets are safe/secure before going out for a few hours during the day (I go out for up to 3 hours max in the morning and arbout 1 hour in the evening to feed and socialize my own cats). **Please note, bookings with 4 or more pets may incur a small extra fee at a mutually agreed/negotiated price upon meeting and discussing your pets needs
