Hello I am Caroline 😊

I have extensive experience working in different aspects of the Animal world, from running a Petlodge to working in multiple Vet clinics.

I have been a pet sitter/ walker on Pawshake since 2016 🐾

I grew up farming in Palmerston North and is where I first found my passion for animals 🐶🐱🐮🐴 Working on the farm and at the local pet boarding facility, among other things and studied Canine Behaviour and Care Level 5.

I then moved to Auckland and worked in the first indoor doggy daycare/boarding facility for cats and dogs as the Front Office Co-ordinater, I then worked as an Animal Management Officer for about 4years aswell as fostering dogs, before moving to Hamilton where I went back farming for DairyNZ and where I discovered Pawshake and offered my services.

I then moved to Tauranga and managed a Petlodge that could house 60dogs and 60 cats.

I was then in the beautiful Marlborough where I returned to an Animal Control officer position aswell as being the Dog Educator Advisor and visit schools and businesses to teach them about dog safety with my staffy 'Chuck' 🐾

I then travelled around NZ working at local vets as a Vet Tech from Bay of Islands to Buller.

I have since bought a home in Blenheim central and have built a great dog enclosure where the dogs have an indoor/outdoor flow and playgrounds, with our sunroom being set up as a dog area with a couch, crates and toy box. (Refer to photos)

• Doggy Daycare: Welcome to Blenheim Centrals first doggy daycare. I can have up to 10 dogs. This is a great service if you are wanting your dogs socialised and having fun while you are at work. Free meet and greets included.

• Boarding:

  I can have more than 1 dog at a time boarding, sometimes have had up to 5 but it is all dependent on the size and temperament of the dog. This is where the free meet and greet is beneficial. I also do not accept entire male dogs as this can sometimes have a negative affect on the other dogs staying aswell as the marking and aroma of the pee. If your fur babies board with me walks are included. If I have to leave the property then I have a camera set up which has a speaker and microphone and I can access this from my cellphone to check in on the pooches.

• Housesitting/ House visits:

  This is a great option if you have cats, bunnies, horses, stock or other animals that need caring for or for dogs that would prefer to be in their own environment and less stressful for owner and dog or if the dog may have some behavioural issues. Walking is also included in this service and can carry out other house hold duties while owners are away.
