Hi, I’m Shiara! ❤️

I’m a proud cat mum to three beautiful babes, Daisy, Koui, and Lily. I’m also a Registered Nurse at the hospital and a dedicated volunteer with CatRescue.

My passion for animals started when I was young. I’ve always found it easy and natural to love and care for the vulnerable and voiceless, especially our furbabies. I grew up in the Philippines, where we always had dogs. Many of them got sick easily, and it broke my heart not knowing how to help them at the time.

Before moving to New Zealand, I had two Golden Retriever Labrador mixes who were the first pets I could truly call my own. Not being able to bring them with me still breaks my heart, which is why I started pet sitting in my spare time to be able to cuddle dogs and love them as if they were my own.

Dogs are a bit more expensive to care for here in NZ, so I now share my home and heart with my three beloved cats. They are my only family here, and I give them the best life I can. While I don’t yet have a formal animal care certificate, I’m very hands on and learning every day as a furmama. My love for my pets is deep, and it extends to all furbabies out there.

My pet sitting fees are affordable and practical for pet parents. Even with lower rates, I guarantee your furbaby will have the grandest time with me.

I offer a free meet and greet before any booking, so we can get to know each other and go over your pet’s needs and what to expect from my services.

I genuinely love doing this. It brings me more joy than anything. It would be my pleasure to help care for your furbaby when you are away or need support.

Lastly, I promise I am reliable, responsible, honest, organized, and compassionate, and I take really good pictures of your pets too ☺️
