Hi! I’m an experienced zookeeper based in Wellington, with a genuine passion for animals and their welfare. My professional experience has given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of species, develop a strong understanding of animal behaviour, and provide care tailored to each animal’s individual needs.

I’m available for dog walking, home visits and pet sitting, and I’d love to help make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while you’re busy or away.

Dog walking:

Walks can range from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on your dog’s needs, energy levels and preferences. I aim to make every walk enjoyable and tailor each outing to the individual dog, whether that means exploring new routes, having a gentle sniff-filled stroll, or getting out for a more active adventure. I’m happy to work around your dog’s usual routine and abilities.

Home visits and pet sitting:

Home visits can include feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, toileting, playtime, enrichment and plenty of company. I can care for a range of animals, not just dogs and cats, and will follow your instructions to keep their routines as consistent as possible.

I’m also happy to administer medication where appropriate, provided clear instructions are supplied and I’m comfortable that I can administer it safely. Your pet’s welfare and safety are always my priority, and I’ll make sure they receive appropriate supervision and attention throughout my visit.

I’m reliable, responsible and attentive, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your beloved pets. My background in professional animal care means I’m confident observing behaviour, recognising changes in an animal’s wellbeing, and adapting my approach to suit different personalities and needs.

I’m happy to send photo updates and messages during visits so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pets receive thoughtful, individualised care and feel as comfortable as possible in their usual environment.
