Hi there!

My name is Betty and I am a 23 year old female. I have 4+ years experience working with dogs and other animals. I spent a good 8 months working at Waglands dog daycare and boarding facility then moved to working casually at the Dog Garden dog daycare for the past three years casually. I have a full time job working at the Wellington Airport and have spent a lot of my past four years animal/house sitting. I have looked after cats and dogs and taken many dogs out on walks too as well as popping in for day visits to give puppies lunch anda run around outside.

In my free time I find myself outside a lot, going on bush walks, swimming in the ocean or going on adventures in my car. I live with my lovely 20 year old cat Sidney who spends most of his days laying in the sun (a dream)!

With my time at Waglands I learnt a lot about dogs and gained a lot of skills around care and behaviour management, I am able to orally administer medications and apply ointments/balms etc.

With my time at the Dog Garden I have been in charge of picking up pups from their family home and driving them around safely to get to daycare to then get them safely home again. This involves a lot of trust surrounding clients homes and security and well as making sure the well being of their wee pup is also a top priority.

Because of my sweet kitty at home I am unavailable to have furry friends stay over at my home however I am available for dog walks, in house visits and pet sitting at pet parents house as well as daycare/day stays with pets at their own home too !!

I also have a life's worth of experience with cats so my expertise isn't stopped at dogs :)) I've been beyond lucky with the furry friends and lovely families I've worked with so far and can't wait to meet more !!
