My name is Gio, I'm a 28yo Biomedical Sciences student at VUW! I grew up with cats, fish and a rescue dog, expanded to rodents and birds after highschool and currently have a sweet 9yo tortie named Meadow. I have lived with all kinds of dogs (owned by flatmates). I would often look after them if flatmates were away and regularly took the dogs for an afternoon swim or dog park adventure with parental consent.

Many of the animals I have cared for and owned in the past have been medically complex or had higher needs due to their age. I have fostered adult cats and small birds previously, have taken dogs in shelters on hikes/walks and provided places for some smaller wild animals to destress after veterinary care prior to being released again. 

I am available for home visits and walks every day of the week around my university schedule. I have plenty experience with administering medications both within food and orally, and a small amount of experience administering injected medicine. 

My biggest goal is for your pet to feel safe and comfortable. I treat every pet as their own individual and love them as if they were my own. Each home visit will be 1 hour long, food made, poop scooped and attention based on your animals needs wether it's all play or lots of quiet love.
