Hi! I’m an animal lover who has grown up around animals my whole life, so caring for pets has always been something I genuinely enjoy. While I don’t have professional pet care experience yet, I have plenty of hands-on experience looking after animals and feel very comfortable around dogs, cats and horses.

I’m available mornings, afternoons and evenings, and I’m very flexible with my availability. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine, whether that means an early morning dog walk, an afternoon home visit or staying overnight while you’re away.

My Services

Dog Walking

I’m confident handling and walking dogs and would love to give your dog plenty of exercise, attention and companionship. Walks can be as long as your dog needs, and I’m happy to adjust the length and pace depending on their age, energy level and usual routine. I regularly walk around Karori Park and the surrounding area.

Home Visits

For cats and other pets, I can visit them in their own home to make sure they’re happy and well cared for. I’ll provide fresh food and water, clean litter trays, playtime, cuddles and plenty of attention. I can stay for around 60 minutes per visit, depending on your pet’s needs.

House Sitting

I’m happy to stay in your home with your pets so they can remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I can stay overnight and for extended periods during the day, depending on your requirements and your pet’s routine. I’ll follow your instructions carefully and make sure your home is kept secure by locking doors and windows when appropriate, keeping keys safely stored and making sure the house is secure whenever I leave. I’m also happy to water plants, bring in the mail and take care of small household tasks while you’re away.

Horses

I’m comfortable around horses and can follow their usual feeding and care routines. I’m happy to provide feeding, fresh water and general day-to-day care according to your instructions.

I’m also happy to administer medication where clear instructions are provided, including straightforward oral medication, and I can follow any specific care instructions your pet requires. I’m happy to reinforce your pet’s existing routines and commands where appropriate.

I understand that leaving your pets with someone new can be difficult, so I’ll always treat them with the same care, patience and respect I would want for my own animals. I’m reliable, responsible and happy to follow your instructions closely to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable and cared for while you’re away.
