I'm Rebekah, 27, born and raised in beautiful Wellington and have always loved animals (who wouldn't!). I started pet sitting many years ago as a nanny for three children, helping the kids take their excitable Weimaraner pup on walks, as he was quite strong for them, and feeding their wonderful cat.

I became a Pawshake Sitter for the Dunedin community while I was a student. I absolutely loved being able to help people feel comfortable leaving their pets to go away, knowing that they are safe and happy at home. I send as many updates as you'd like, to know they are doing well. I also can't deny that many of those pets got me through long study periods. You'd know as well as I do just how amazing the companionship animals provide is, and why they deserve the care and attention I can provide. I have been back in Wellington since December 2022 but was working in a role where I travelled, so wasn't able to pet-sit and really missed it!

I know work in central Wellington, from home 2 days a week (usually Thursday and Friday, with a potential 3rd day) so can keep your pets company.

My photos show some of the pets I have looked after, and the range of animals that I love, not matter how big or small!

Services I offer:

Dog walking: Walking or exercising your pet as needed for the duration they require.

Home visits: feeding and cleaning as well as engaging and entertaining pets.

Home stays: Services as above as well as housekeeping, collecting mail and watering plants. Providing security for the owner and companionship for pets.
