I'm on Pawshake primarily because I'm missing my dog back home in England after being out here in NZ for about a year and having just moved away from a house that was supplying my dose of animal love!

I'm looking for all sorts of opportunities - dog walking, home visits, and overnight visits. I don't have a car, so my fees cover travel costs and food for me :)

My experience?

I have spent my entire life with animals, primarily dogs. I have grown up being involved in the process of caring for them - walking, feeding, playing etc.

I also have a lot of experience in taking care of other people's pets. I already walk one dog on Tuesdays, and have done a 2 night pet sit here in Wellington since moving here a couple of months ago.

I've spent weeks at my Uncle's house looking after his dog, and have walked various family friends' dogs growing up. I have experience with all sizes! Labradors, stocky staffies etc.

In the last year I looked after the cat at my family's house in QT. We bonded very well and I miss her already hahaha. I've done a few cat sits for my neighbour's outdoor cat back in England as well, feeding, playing, and just sitting with her.

I'm up for anything and would love the opportunity to add your beloved animals to the mix!

All of my pet sitting experience has been at the pet owner's houses. My house is in the city and not very accessible or particularly suitable for a dog - so I'm primarily looking for work to do with walking or caring for your cat/dog at your house.

During week days I work in the evenings from 4pm for 7-8 hours, so house sitting is only available on weekends! Anything else is on the cards all week-long :)
