Hi! My name is Alinne, and I’m a caring, reliable, and attentive pet sitter based in Brooklyn, Wellington.

Animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats, and from a young age I learned the value of patience, kindness, and consistent daily care.

Later, I cared for my own little Pomeranian, Babalu, who needed daily medication and extra support due to a health condition. This experience taught me how to provide gentle, attentive care, recognise changes in behaviour, and support pets who need extra patience, comfort, or routine. It also showed me how important trust, consistency, and genuine affection are for a pet’s wellbeing.

I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. I’m happy caring for playful and energetic dogs, as well as shy, senior, or more relaxed pets who need a calm environment and extra reassurance.

A typical day in my care includes toilet breaks, fresh water, feeding to your schedule, walks suited to your dog’s age and energy level, playtime, rest time, cuddles, and plenty of companionship throughout the day.

Pets are not left alone for long periods. If I need to step out briefly, it would usually be for errands and generally no more than 1–2 hours, while making sure they are safe, comfortable, and settled.

I’m happy to follow specific routines and care instructions, including administering basic oral medication if needed.

If any emergency or health concern arises, I would contact you immediately, keep your pet calm and comfortable, and seek veterinary care promptly if required.

During each stay, I’ll send regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

Your pet will always be treated with kindness, patience, and respect — just like family.
