Availability: For walks, I am available anytime on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For overnight/evening pet sitting, I am available after 6 pm every day of the week.

About Me: I am patient, kind and responsible with dogs. I grew up with 3 dogs in Dunedin, two of which sadly passed from old age this year, so it's safe to say I could use some fluffy company. I grew up around all sorts of animals, from sheep, cows, and goats to birds, rabbits, horses, cats and dogs (my family are mostly farmers, and my uncle is a partner and director of The Big Blue Cross Veterinary Centre), so it's safe to say I am very familiar with many animals and I adore them all. I am an artist, musician, rock climber, surfer/swimmer and runner, and I am now studying in my second year of university here in Wellington. Let me know if your pup has any special requirements, needs or any other important information I should know. It's important to me that your pup has a fun time in my care, and if there's anything I can do to accommodate their needs and interests, I would love to know more about them!

Dropping off & Picking up: Pets will need to be dropped off and picked up at your chosen location, as I don't own a car (this can include my house, located in Kelburn). I am more than happy to take the bus to your location to pick up your pups.

Walking: I offer 30-minute to 2-hour walks in your choice of location. The price will depend on the duration of a walk; I am open to negotiation. I have experience with all sorts of dog breeds and sizes. I can walk up to 3 small or medium-sized dogs or two bigger breeds at once. I am highly active and enjoy walking in any environment that suits your furry friend. If your pup likes getting treats, feel free to supply their favourite mid-walk snack! I understand the many ways dogs may interact with others out and about and know how to handle pups around other dogs and children to ensure everything stays smooth and friendly. Every dog has different energy levels when out on a walk, so I will be sure to meet them where they're at!

Pet Sitting: I am confident and experienced with managing meal times and any meds your pups may be taking. I can look after up to 4 dogs per sit. If you leave me a list of things to know or instructions while I stay, I will have everything I need to ensure your furry friends are more than comfortable. I understand that every owner has different ways of looking after their furry friends, so I will ensure that nothing is changed to their routine and care. I am attentive and affectionate with all dogs, so if it suits them, I'll make sure they get plenty of cuddles and playtime while you're out! I am also experienced at looking after dogs with separation anxiety and understand how distressing it can be for some when their favourite humans aren't home. I am familiar with dogs' body language and communication, so I'll be sure to listen closely to anything your furry friends have to say! I can also pet-sit for as many small pets as you have, including birds, rodents, rabbits and guinea pigs, which I am also familiar with. Pets will be left alone for a maximum of 5 minutes while I am pet-sitting.

Photo Updates: For all my services, you will receive regular photo updates of me and your fluffy friend/s. 

In Case of an Emergency or Injury: In case of an emergency, your pet's safety is my top priority, and you will be the first person I contact. I have experienced dog injuries and attacks over the years, and I know how to handle them calmly and appropriately. If your pet experiences an emergency and you can't be there for them, I will make sure that we have an arranged form of transportation for these situations before my arrival. My family being farmers and vets has meant I am very familiar with animal care, and I am competent at undertaking basic animal first aid for minor injuries or cuts. I know how dogs can act when they are hurt, and I pick up on the signs right away. I know how to soothe dogs, how to inspect them for injury and can provide a supportive and compassionate environment for animals in distress or pain.
