Hiya, I’m Jamie! I’m 27 and live in Hataitai, Wellington, with my two cats, Enzo and Bug.

I’m an animal person through and through and have heaps of experience caring for all sorts of pets. Aside from my own, I’ve been looking after other people’s pets for the past decade and pride myself on being dependable, attentive and easy to communicate with.

I previously worked as a dog walker for Dogs of Melbourne, where I took dogs on group walks. This gave me lots of experience with different breeds, sizes and personalities, as well as thorough training in reading dog behaviour and keeping the dogs in my care happy and safe. Special mention to both my parents being vets, meaning I pretty much grew up in a vet clinic!

I’m super easygoing and communicative, and I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care (I have a cat sitter of my own when I go away, too!). I’m always happy to send updates, photos and little check-ins while you’re away.

I work Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4pm in a corporate role, but outside of work I have plenty of availability and flexibility. I’d especially love to find a few regular families to help out with, whether that’s popping in to see their pets, going for walks or looking after them while their humans are away. I’m also very happy to help with one-off bookings! I’m adaptable and happy to work around your pet’s usual routine, whatever that might look like.

I have my own car, am more than happy to meet beforehand, and have references ready to go if you’d like them.

I try to get back to everyone ASAP, so please feel totally free to drop me a message if you have any questions. 😸
