Kia ora! I'm Chloe, an experienced pet sitter based in Wellington CBD. I work from home as a freelance French translator, so I have a flexible schedule, and I'd love to dedicate part of that time to care for pets again!
 

Before moving to Wellington over a year ago, I was living in Australia, where I started pet sitting in 2022. Later on, I also spent five months doing full-time pet and house sitting, and I absolutely loved this experience which gave me the chance to really live with the pets I was caring for, so I'm very used to adapting to different pets' personalities and their routines. I grew up with a Maltipoo and have also lived with cats, so pets have always been a big part of my life. Since moving to New Zealand, I've really missed having them around, which is why I'd love to look after yours.
 

🐱 I have experience with kittens, adult and senior cats, indoor and outdoor cats, shy and rescue cats who need a gentle and patient approach. I love getting to know each cat's personality and adjusting to what makes them feel comfortable, whether that means playing with them, cuddling on the sofa, or just being a calm presence nearby. I always care for the pets I look after as if they were my own, and one of the nicest compliments I've received from a past client was that after I moved out of Sydney, none of the sitters they tried gave their cat the same love I did.
 

🐶 I also have experience with small and medium dogs, from puppies to seniors, with different temperaments and energy levels. I've cared for dogs with separation anxiety, anxiety requiring medication, incontinence, blindness, and reactivity to other dogs. For walks, I only take one dog at a time (or two from the same household), so I can give them my full attention and keep things safe.
