Kia ora,

My name is Georgia and I am a primary school teacher who lives in Hataitai. It is a wonderful area for a walk to in the bush, a quick trip over to the beach or even a coffee at the local dog-friendly bistro.

I have had an affinity with animals for as long as I can remember. When I wasn’t attempting to adopt every cat, dog or bunny at the SPCA as a child, I was doing my best to learn as much as I could about these beautiful animals. This love for animals of all shapes and sizes has followed me well into adulthood! Throughout high school and university, I volunteered at the SPCA in both Wellington and Marlborough. Here I worked mostly in the puppy rooms and larger dog areas. This, paired with having my own cats and dogs has given me a great understanding of furry friends.

I understand that all four legged family members have different personalities and it is important to get to know them. Know that your pet will be in safe, knowledgeable and extremely loving and experienced hands, whether it’s just for the day or long-term stay!
