Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.
I'm looking at pettsitting options in the Wellington region as I'm  renting/flatting at the moment so I have got limited pet options myself and it'd be great to share yours even for a little while.
I've had some previous pet sitting for colleagues and family in addition to some other sitting duties outside Wellington arranged via another site. Most importantly for you, I've been asked back to sit again a few times.
I also grew up with a variety of pets (fox terriers, a siamese cat, budgies and canaries) so am pretty comfortable with a range of animals.
I do have the option to WFH given I'm office based and employed in a Quality Assurance role with a Financial Advisory firm should your pet need a little more attention. I do like to get out and see Wellington too so if permissable your dog may get a car ride for a decent walk.

I'm a qualified teacher (tertiary) and fitness professional and I recently decided to go down to part-time work, this gives me lots of flexibility for dog walks, homes visits or pet-sitting. I grew up around dogs, and a cat. Since moving down to wellington, I have missed having a buddy join me on my walks. My previous experience is with my family dogs which range from small to medium sized dogs, but have dog sat casually for friends with larger dogs in the past. At this stage, my services include dog walking and home visits. I won't be house-sitting or dog-sitting, at my home or yours.&nbsp;
While visiting your home, I take great care in making sure I lock up and leave everything as you left it. I am happy to bring in mail or water your plants if needed. I will take your dog(s) out for a walk and then spend some time playing with them at home. I estimate this taking an hour but am fllexible to reduce or extend this time if required.&nbsp;
Ideally, I like to walk in a dog friendly park if there is one close by, alternatively I would take them for a walk around the neighbourhood. If your dog travels well in a car and you're okay with it, I'm happy to drive them to a park if it's slightly too far out from where you live. I know there are some small dog friendly parks near Karori, Wadestown, and Crofton Downs.&nbsp;
I have experience and am comfortable administering oral medications to small - medium sized dogs. The black poodle cross in my profile had seizures and required two medications taken orally every couple hours. I have also had experience looking after him through and post seizures.&nbsp;
I am usually available in the afternoon and evenings on a weekday, but am free all day on weekends.&nbsp;

I currently own and care for my big baby tabby rescue cat, Rocky. I've grown up with animals- both dogs and cats and know how to take care of them. I can administer ointments, flea treatments etc. with confidence. 

As I'll be around I thought I'd return the favour of offer to look after other's pets. If you need a cat sitter over January/ February I've listed some dates that I'm in Wellington. I can come feed you cat(s) or other small animals, play with them if the want to engage, groom if necessary, basically whatever you need! If you're in a desperate spot I can also feed/ walk your dog but preference is for cat sitting.

&nbsp;I am 27 year old working in public infrastructure. Growing up, we always had animals in the house. I have had 1 fish, hamster, 5different cats. I've also looked after several dogs (Ms. Noodle, Cookie, and Daisy) and cats (Tugboat and Trixie)
I moved to NZ, leaving my family pets behind. In AKL, little demon Trix (black cat) and Dasiy dog (champaign doodle) captured my heart as i helped to care for them on a regular basis.

My name is Claudia and I have just finished my degrees in law and commerce and am taking a break prior to starting full-time work in late February, in my spare time I love to crochet, read, and practise yoga. I am passionate about taking care and providing our animal pals with everything they need in order to be happy. My services
1. Home visits 
During home visits I am able to come to your house and give your pet half an hour of quality time alongside feeding your pet. I offer either x1 or x2 visits a day depending on your needs! I am open to spending more than half an hour at these visits, but it would be best to contact me prior. 
2. Dog walking 
As an active person, I am capable of walking your dog up to 2 hours (if you have an especially active doggo!). I am comfortable with walking a dog on a lead and following the pace of your furry pal. Up to an hour, my rate is $25.00. However, if you are looking for a longer walk (1+ hours) I am more than happy to do this but I charge a flat rate per hour of $25.00 which I believe is a fair price as it is $1 below the current living wage. 
3. House sitting 
While house sitting I will be present for 24 hours to tend to your doggos needs - food, water, bathroom, and play! I am a tidy and respectful person who will follow the rules of your home, I understand that everyone has different and unique ways of running their house and I endeavour to respect this! For example, in my flat I have a strict shoes off policy which I tell visitors and expect them to respect.

I am able to pick and drop off your pet to your home as I have my full license and access to a car.

After graduating I decided to move back home to Wanaka before I go off travelling to see the world! I love animals (always have) and unfortunately can't have my own at the moment due to going travelling in the next couple of years so I would love to hang out with yours! I come from Italy and there, I have lived with 6 rescued dogs and 5 cats that have always stayed with me.
Pet sitting is the job that I want to do in my life, I feel a strong push for the animals well being and it is my goal for life. I was born and there were already 3 cats in my house, and since that time, pets have always entered my house and my heart.
I have 3 years of experience all in Italy both with cats and dogs, but I can also take care of Aquariums with fish.&nbsp;
Also, I have 2 years of volunteering as foster housing abandoned kittens, cooperating with the Italian rescued cats association.  In those case, I had to feed them and cure them with medicaments and bring them periodically to veterinary visits.
