Hi! I’m a big animal lover offering reliable, caring pet visits and dog walks while you’re at work or away. 🐾

About me:

I’m in my late 30's and currently on parental leave from my office job. I’m a mum of two young boys, and I’ll have my 5-month-old with me during most visits at the moment.

I’ve always loved animals and have lots of experience caring for my own pets. I’ve also been doing pet visits for quite some time outside of Pawshake, looking after pets in their own homes while their owners are away or at work.

What motivates me is knowing that pets are happiest and most comfortable in their own environment, and I love being able to give them some attention, company and care when owners are not available.

When I’m available:

I’m currently on parental leave, so I’m generally available for visits on weekdays. Availability can vary depending on the day, so I’m happy to discuss specific times when you make a booking.

Home visits

My standard home visits are approximately 30 minutes. During a visit I can:

- Feed your pets according to their usual routine

- Refresh food and water

- Let dogs outside/to the toilet where appropriate

- Clean litter trays or other pet areas as needed

- Give your pets attention, cuddles and playtime

- Check that your pets are happy, safe and settled

- Send you photos and an update from the visit

- Bring in mail and water plants if requested

I’m happy to follow your usual routine and any specific instructions you leave for your pets.

I can also administer basic medication where you provide clear instructions, such as tablets or medication that can be easily given with food. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s individual needs before booking.

Dog walking

Dog walks are generally 30 minutes, with the option to discuss a longer walk depending on your dog and location.

I’m happy to walk dogs around their local neighbourhood and nearby dog-friendly parks or walking areas. I’ll choose a suitable route based on your dog’s age, fitness, temperament and usual walking routine.

As I’ll have my baby with me, I’m best suited to dogs who are comfortable around a pram or baby carrier and who are manageable for me to walk safely. I’ll always discuss this with you beforehand.

A little about having my baby with me:

As I’m currently on parental leave, my 5-month-old son will accompany me on most visits. For feeding/check-in visits I’ll usually have him in a baby carrier, and for dog walks I’ll use either a carrier or pram depending on what works best.

I understand that every pet is different, so I’m happy to discuss this beforehand to make sure the arrangement is suitable for your pet. My priority is always that your pet receives safe, calm and attentive care.

I’m currently offering home visits and dog walking rather than overnight house sitting.
