I can only take on non shedding/hypoallergenic dogs due to my partners allergies.

Please note: For first time boarders I will ask that your dog spends a half day at my home free of charge. I find that this is a good way to ensure the dynamic works and your dog is comfortable and happy before you go away. Your dogs happiness and wellbeing is my priority.

I am 28 years old and work as a policy analyst in the public sector. I live in Newlands in an average size townhouse with a small deck outside area. My dog uses a pee pad. There are heaps of great walks and dog parks nearby, which makes for great adventures. I have grown up with all kinds of pets, Guinea pigs, a miniature horse, and cats and dogs. My motivation for being a sitter is that I am animal crazy and love spending time with new furry friends. I want to give all pets I look after the best shot in life and to always set them up for success. I pride myself in giving all pets the best quality care. I require all dogs boarding or coming for doggy day to be vaccinated. I have an italian water dog named Alfie so they must also be okay with other dogs. I am also available for cat feeding in nearby areas. I work from home 3/5 days a week so am home most of the time. The other two days I am only out for 6 hours. In terms of day care if your dog needs company during the day I can provide day care Tuesday, Thursday or Friday which are my working from home days. They can hang out with me and Alfie and I will happily take them on a short walk. I don't have any professional pet care training. However, as mentioned above I have grown up my entire life with pets. This has included things like raising puppies and attending puppy school. I have a basic understanding of pet training and obviously am very well in tuned with the care needs of animals.

Alfie

Alfie is a very chilled dude who is a massive mummy's boy. He's my little shadow and is just happy to be involved in anything and everything. He’s very well accustomed to having dog guests and seems to really enjoy meeting new friends. He loves playing with other dogs and sometimes even likes a snuggle with them. I'm a bit biased but he's just an awesome chill dog really.
