Kia Ora pet parents of Wellington!!

I'm Merisca and I'm so excited to meet the critter crawling, curtain climbing, cheeky chasing pets of Wellington :D

I live and work in Wellington city and I'm available for home visits and walkies in the CBD and surrounding suburbs (anything south of Tawa)

About Me:

I'm experienced with animals ranging from Cats, Dogs, Rabbits (mostly indoors), Guinea pigs, Chinchillas & Birds. I have previous experience pet sitting for family/friends in the past and have had all the critters listed above as pets of my own (excl birds). I also volunteered weekly at my local SPCA for two years as an animal carer + socialiser.

Currently I have a sassy senior gal cat (12yrs) of my own that requires daily medicating and a lil extra love so I am very comfortable taking care of pets who have dietary requirements, need daily medications or need a little extra patience and care. I have been around all sorts of pets for most of my life, either of my own or friends/family.

What my home visits will look like:

- Every Visit: Feeding, Water Replacement, Socialising (affection + play + company) and of course treats for the best boys and girls!! (Pre-approved treats)

If applicable: Brushing, bathing

My visits will always include any hygiene needs such as cleaning bowl/plate, scooping/changing litter trays or bedding (newspaper/hay) and any toiletry accidents that might happen. I will make sure your pet & their surroundings stay clean & tidy.

I will always send photos after each visit and a lil report card via Pawshake to ensure you have regular updates so you aren't worried while you're away + you get to see your lovely critters everyday so you still feel connected x

My available hours are after 5pm on weekdays & anytime on the weekends.

I work full time during the weekdays but I can consider a weekday visit before 8:30am for any pets in suburbs: Te Aro, Aro Valley, Wadestown, Kaiwharawhara, Wilton, Northland, Thorndon, Kelburn & Wellington CBD.

If you require 2x visits a day between Mon-Fri, you must be located in one of the suburbs listed above (can do 2x visits a day on the weekends for pets located in any of the suburbs south of Tawa).
