My name is Phoebe, I am 27 years old and have a 4 year old lovebird named Sushi. I am aware that New Zealand has a shortage in help for bird owners needing bird sitters.

I will be able to ensure your bird gets adequate play/fly time out of the cage, cuddles (if wanted), bathing time, fresh food and water everyday and adequate sleep at night in a dark and quiet environment.

I will also ensure your bird or birds are away from any cooking fumes, candles and other dangerous toxins. I have extensive knowledge in different species and can also look after larger birds. I understand that all birds have niche needs and will cater to them!

I live in a flat with 5 others that all love birds too. My room has a lounge area attached to it where I'm able to keep birds. (See images) you will need to either bring your birds cage or a travel cage.

If you are going to be leaving your bird or birds for a long period of time, I recommend sending voice notes and videos so your feathered friend can be reassured with your voice. I will also send you updates for your peace of mind ❤️
