Hi! I'm an animal lover who has grown up around lots of different animals, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, sheep and chickens. I've always loved being around animals and enjoy getting to know their different personalities and making sure they're happy, comfortable and well cared for. My most recent job was working at a doggy daycare and hotel, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of many different shapes, sizes and personalities. This included looking after multiple dogs, understanding their individual needs and making sure they were safe and happy throughout the day. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Animal Behaviour and Welfare at Unitec, which has allowed me to learn even more about animal behaviour, welfare and proper care. I'm looking for opportunities that fit alongside my studies and allow me to gain more hands-on experience with animals. My availability I'm generally available on weekends and selected weekdays, with morning and afternoon availability. Some evenings may also be possible depending on the day. I'm happy to discuss times that work best for you and your pets. Services I offer I offer dog walking and home visits. During home visits, I can: - Feed your pets according to their usual routine. - Refresh their water. - Spend time playing with them and giving them attention. - Provide companionship and make sure they're doing well. - Clean litter trays or tidy up after pets if needed. Home visits can generally be around 30–60 minutes, depending on your pet's needs and what you'd like me to do. For dog walking, I offer walks of approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on your dog's age, energy levels and individual needs. Walks can take place around your local neighbourhood, nearby parks or other suitable walking areas. I'm happy to discuss your dog's usual walking routine and favourite places. I'm also happy to discuss administering medication if your pet requires it, provided clear instructions are given beforehand. While I don't offer professional grooming or formal training, I'm happy to reinforce familiar routines and basic commands during my time with your pet. I understand that pets are part of the family, and I'll always treat them with patience, kindness and care. I want both you and your pets to feel comfortable and confident while they're in my care!
