Hi i'm Lara!

Im recently finished studying Psychology at Otago University but am at home for the summer to save money before I head overseas for my OE next year. I come from a rural town in Southland and grew up on a lifestyle block. This means I have always been surrounded by a range of different animals on the farm including dogs, cats, sheep, cows, chickens and pet lambs. I have always had a love for dogs whilst having a Jack Russell my whole life and also having a love for all other dogs. I have always offered to take my friends' and family's dogs on walks and love playing with them. I have been totally trusted by a range of different people to take care of their dogs, including neighbours who have been away for the weekend for example.

As a dog walker I would offer as much love and attention as I would towards my own dog. I can offer to walk your dog/s depending on how large the dogs are. I can take the dogs all over Te Anau to experience different locations such as the lake, trails, or anywhere in Te Anau. I have had experience with dogs of all ages so can cater to their needs including giving medication. I am free at different times each day depending on when I have uni classes but I would happily try and work around your schedule. Depending on the dogs’ needs, I can offer up to an hour to take them for a walk.

In reguards to house visits, I can also feed cats and other pets depending on their level of care as well. I will happily spend time with other animals as well as dogs to take them outside and to feed them if necessary.
