About Me

I've always been the person animals graviate towards and wouldn't have it any other way. My dad always says that animals are the best judges of character, and it's something I've come to believe too. Friends and family often say their pets have a soft sport for me, which I take as the highest compliment going.

I work as a freelance graphic designer which means my scheldule is flexible, some days I'm at home, some days I'm out, which tends to work really weel for pets who don't love being left alone for long stretches. I recentely graduated and have moved back to Tauranga while I build my career, and pet sitting felt like the perfect fit. I get to spend time doing something I genuinely love, while helping owners feel at ease knowng their animals are in good hands.

I have experience with cats, dogs and even horses, caring for family and friends pets over the years as well as a handful of professional sits. I'm comfortable with feeding routines, medicaiton, daily walks or runs and everything in between. And I do mean everything, I once spent a week dutifully wet-wiping a harless cats neither regions every single day, so you can rest assured I'm not easily put off. I'm also a big fan of getting outsife, so if your dog is after a proper long walk, we'll get along just fine.

What I offer

I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. Dog walks are 30 minutes as standard, with longer ones thrown in regularly. High-energy dogs and puppies can go up to an hour, two 30-minute walks, or even a run if they're up for it. Drop-in visits are great for cats or pets who just need a check-in, a feed, and a bit of company. For house sitting, I stay in your home so your pet keeps their usual routine with minimal disruption.

I have a ragdoll cat of my own called Cashie, who very much rules the roost at home, so I'm not able to host any pets at my place.

Updates

You'll hear from me once a day, photos, a quick update, whatever lets you switch off and actually enjoy your time away. If you'd like more or less frequent check-ins, just say the word. I'm happy to tailor updates to whatever works best for you.

Emergencies

I'm the kind of person who stays calm when it matters most. For anything minor or non-urgent I'll contact you first and we'll figure it out together. If something more serious comes up I'll contact you and a vet at the same time so nothing gets delayed. Before any sit I'll always make sure I have your emergency contacts, your vet's details, and a clear plan in place.
