Hi, I’m Avalon!

I’m a passionate animal lover who truly enjoys spending time with pets of all kinds. Unfortunately, my current rental doesn’t allow animals, so I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and give them the attention, companionship, and exercise they deserve.

I have previously owned both cats and dogs, and I loved everything from long walks at the park with my dog to cuddling and playing with my cat at home. I enjoy being outdoors in good weather and relaxing with a good book when it’s not, which means I’m equally happy taking energetic dogs for walks or spending quiet time indoors with cuddly companions.

I offer dog walking tailored to your pet’s needs, whether that’s a long walk of up to an hour or a shorter 15–30 minute outing. I’m happy to take dogs to the park or beach, clean up after them, and assist with any ongoing training or reinforcement of positive behaviours. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with a range of personalities, including shy or more energetic pets. However, I’m best suited to small and medium-sized dogs, as I may not have the strength to safely manage very large dogs.

For cats and other indoor pets, I’m happy to play with them if they enjoy interaction, provide cuddles and companionship, or simply give them calm company and respect their space.

I work in healthcare, so I’m confident handling basic first aid and staying calm in medical emergencies. I’m also comfortable accompanying pets to appointments if needed and can confidently communicate with veterinarians about any concerns or updates regarding your pet’s health and wellbeing.

I work full-time, but I’m available after work, during lunch breaks, and on weekends. While there may occasionally be days I’m unavailable, I’ll always do my best to accommodate both you and your pets’ needs whenever possible.
