My name is Marcela, and I am a caring and reliable animal lover living in Welcome Bay with my husband, our two children (ages 4 and 13), and our friendly dog, Silvio, a small Schnauzer x Jack Russell.

Although I have not worked professionally as a pet sitter, I have cared for friends’ dogs many times, from day visits to longer stays. I grew up surrounded by animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits, and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life.

We live in a spacious, fully fenced home surrounded by beautiful parks and walking areas. Dogs staying with us will be treated like part of the family and will receive plenty of love, companionship, supervision, and attention.

I work flexible hours and mostly from my own business, so dogs are rarely left alone for long periods. On working days, I am generally away only for a few hours and always return before school pick-up time. On my days off and weekends, I spend most of my time at home and enjoy taking our dog for walks and family outings.

Your dog will receive:

• Daily walks appropriate for their age and energy level
• Regular toilet breaks and supervised playtime
• Lots of affection and companionship throughout the day
• Photo and message updates so you can relax while away
• Care following your dog’s usual feeding, sleeping, and medication routines

Safety is very important to me. New dogs are introduced slowly and carefully to Silvio to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I only accept dogs that are friendly with children and other dogs.

If a dog is nervous or anxious, I provide a calm environment, extra reassurance, and follow the owner’s instructions to help them settle in. I aim to keep routines as close as possible to what they are used to at home.

In case of an emergency, I will contact you immediately and seek veterinary care if needed.

I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine. I am happy to adapt to each dog’s individual needs, whether they are energetic, shy, senior, or require extra reassurance in a new environment.

Dogs staying with us are typically left alone for no more than 2–3 hours at a time, and on many days someone is home for most of the day due to my flexible work schedules.

I can accommodate:

• Different feeding schedules and dietary requirements
• Administering oral medication if required
• Puppies who need more frequent toilet breaks and supervision
• Senior dogs who prefer a quieter environment and slower walks
• Dogs that prefer their own sleeping space or have specific bedtime routines
