Kia ora! I’m a big lover of dogs and I’m excited to meet yours! 🐾

I study from home year-round, so I have plenty of availability during the weekdays to look after, care for, play with and walk your lovely pals.

I have a fully fenced property on a quiet culdesac close to Carmichael Reserve, where I regularly walk my Dory. I'm new to pawshake but am a seasoned dog owner. I have a dog of my own, Dory, and she’s my third furry companion over the years, so I’m comfortable with a range of dogs and understand that every pup has their own personality, routine and needs.

Walks are usually around 30–45 minutes, depending on your dog’s age, fitness, energy levels and preferences. I’m also happy to adjust this for older dogs, puppies or dogs who need shorter, slower walks. Dory can be walked separately if your dog needs a one-on-one walk.

Your dog’s safety and comfort are really important to me. I only walk dogs on-lead unless you have specifically discussed an off-leash arrangement with me, and I make sure gates, doors and fencing are secure. I’m happy to follow your usual feeding, walking and toileting routines, and I can administer medication if your dog needs it, provided you give me clear instructions.

I can also pop by your home to check on your dog, give them a feed, let them outside, have some playtime and provide some company while you’re away.

I have a little whānau, but my children are at daycare and school during the day, so it will just be me and your doggo during their stay. Dory is a medium-sized dog who loves to play, but she’s also very happy to curl up and sleep the day away. She’s used to sharing her space with other dogs, we have used pawshake in the past where she stayed with houses full off all sorts of pups and was always happy to do her own thing or play happily with others - I’m happy to keep the dogs separate when needed.

Most importantly, I’ll treat your dog like one of my own and make sure they get plenty of love, attention, exercise and cuddles while they’re in my care. ❤️🐶
