Hi! I am currently finishing my Masters in Teaching at AUT! I’ve grown up with our family dog (golden retriever) 🐶 and cat (rescued from SPCA) 🐱. I absolutely love animals and would love to take care of your wonderful dogs or cats when you are busy! 🤗 I have also taken care of several different cats and dogs for my friends and family.

At the moment, I can take your dog for a walk for some fresh air! I love the outdoors, so I’m happy to take them for longer walks too. It can be a 30-minute walk or a couple of hours, depending on what suits your dog! I also love playing with dogs at a dog park with their favourite toy. My hours are very flexible as I am a student.

I am new to pet sitting, so I’m happy to start with dog walking and potentially look after your pet at your house too! Unfortunately, I can’t have animals stay at my house as I am renting and pets aren’t allowed.

Every dog has a different personality, so I will always take the time to understand what makes your pet comfortable. If your dog is nervous or shy, I won’t rush them and will let them approach me at their own pace. I’ll follow your instructions about their usual routine, behaviour and any things they may be nervous around.

Safety is very important to me. I will keep your dog securely on their lead unless you have specifically told me they are safe to be off-lead. I’ll also be mindful of other dogs, traffic and unfamiliar surroundings during our walks. With energetic dogs, I’ll make sure they get plenty of opportunities to play and run around safely.

If anything unexpected happens or your pet becomes unwell or injured, I will contact you straight away and follow your instructions. In an emergency where I can’t reach you, I would prioritise your pet’s safety and seek appropriate veterinary help. I’ll always keep you updated during walks and let you know how your dog is doing.

I am very reliable and always on time! Please feel free to contact me during the day, preferably between 7am–7pm. I’d love to meet you and your furry friends! 🐾
