I've grown up surrounded by animals, from cats and dogs to bunnies, so caring for pets has always been a big part of my life. I currently have two cats and a family Border Collie, who are all very loved (and probably a little spoiled!). I've always been a huge animal lover, and I genuinely think one of the best things about having pets is the unconditional love they give us. Looking after them and making sure they're happy is something I really enjoy.

Although I'm new to offering pet sitting as a service, I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for animals. I've been around cats my whole life, including house-training them, raising kittens from birth alongside my family, and helping anxious rescue cats settle in and feel safe in a new environment. More recently, our family dog had puppies, and I helped care for her throughout her labour and delivery.

These experiences have taught me how important it is to understand each animal's individual personality and needs. I'm quite attentive to changes in behaviour and have become good at noticing the subtle signs that a cat or dog might be stressed, uncomfortable, or not feeling their best.

What I offer

I'm happy to help with dog walking, home visits, short house sits of 1–2 nights, and boarding small dogs at my home. Whether your pet needs some exercise, company while you're out, or someone to look after them while you're away, I'm more than happy to work around their usual routine and individual needs.

For boarding, I live in a home with a fully fenced backyard, alongside two other adults, my two cats, and our family Border Collie. Because of this, boarding would be best suited to smaller dogs who are comfortable around other animals. I'd also be happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone gets along.

I'm currently a university student and work part-time in a hybrid role, so my schedule is fairly flexible, especially during university breaks.

I'll only take on boarding jobs if I have no other commitments that would require me to be away, so I don't have to leave your dog on their own. For walks, I'm happy to take them in my car to beaches and parks, or go for a walk around my neighbourhood. These outings can be a short 15-minute walk or an hour-long play session at a park, depending on your pet's needs. 

I'm comfortable administering medication, following specific feeding or care routines, and sending regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is getting on. I know how much trust goes into leaving your pets with someone else, and I'd always aim to give them the same care, patience, and attention that I'd want someone to give my own.
