Hi there! I’m Karishma 😊

I’m fairly new to the Pawshake community, but I’m excited to be here! I recently used a pet sitter through Pawshake for my own wee doggo, and it made me realise how wonderful it would be to return the favour and help other pet owners when they need an extra pair of hands.

Whether you’re looking for someone to walk your dog, care for your pets while you’re away, or keep an eye on your home, I’d love to help give you peace of mind.

I have my own little dog, who I absolutely adore. Becoming a dog owner has taught me so much about responsibility, patience, empathy and the importance of making animals feel safe, comfortable and loved. I used to be quite nervous around animals, but having my own puppy helped me overcome that fear and develop a genuine love and appreciation for them.

My wee dog experiences anxiety, so I understand the importance of being gentle, calm and patient with animals who need a little extra reassurance. I’m happy to take the time to help pets feel comfortable, build trust at their own pace, and settle into new situations.

I also have experience caring for my sister’s dog, a husky–border collie cross, so I’m comfortable around dogs of different sizes and personalities.

I understand that pets are family, and leaving them in someone else’s care can sometimes feel daunting. My priority is to treat every pet with kindness, patience and respect, while following their usual routines and individual needs.
