Hi there, my name is Helen.

I live in West Auckland and have been house sitting and pet sitting for local families in the area.

I bring flexibility, a strong knowledge of West Auckland’s wonderful parks and beaches (including Kakamatua and Muriwai and Te Henga) and a deep understanding of animal care.

I am active, comfortable working independently, and highly self-motivated. With my experience walking dogs and combined with my frequent house sitting duties, I make sure that we are prepared before
we leave for our adventure, listening to and understanding the owners concerns and needs. This is especially essential if their beloved dog or dogs tends to be scared or shy or barks or requires to be on a lead at all times.

I understand it can be very daunting when one's loved dog is left with a stranger, but my strengths include my ability to build strong relationships and being sure to nurture them whether with pet owners, colleagues, or the animals themselves.

I am approachable, easy to communicate with, and committed to ensuring everyone feels confident and comfortable when their pets are in my care. Honesty and reliability are the foundations of my work ethic, with my reputation built on word of mouth.

I have been entrusted to care for dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and even cows — always treating them as if they were my own. Hope to hear from you soon!
