Kia Ora, my name is Amelia Martin, and animals have always been a big part of my life. I hold NCEA Level 3, current first aid, and have hands-on experience volunteering at pet shelters and working at Animates, where I learned how to care for animals with different needs, behaviours, and personalities. I’m motivated to work as a pet sitter because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, calm, happy, and comfortable.

I offer a range of services including daily walks, home visits, and overnight stays, tailoring my care to each pet’s needs. I can manage dogs, cats, small mammals, and birds, providing feeding, playtime, exercise, grooming, medication administration, and companionship. I also ensure pets get mental stimulation and gentle training during visits if needed.

I have a one-year-old staffy who is my best friend, and caring for animals doesn’t feel like work to me it’s something I truly love. I treat every pet like my own, prioritise their wellbeing, build trust, and communicate clearly with owners with care and respect.
