I want to open my home on weekends and over the Easter break so that small dog parents can have a break and not worry. I have owned small beed dogs for over 15 years. I know the idea of putting your pet in a kennel can be scary, so this would be a safe alternative and short term. I am very much a home body, so your pet will not be left alone on the property.

Your dog will get to sleep on the bed, enjoy home made meals, be walked twice a day and have freedom to race around my 900sq fully fenced section. I make my own dehydrated treats, so the food is all home made including the treats. With my Bowie at the house, the maximum number of boarding dogs I can have would be 2, however happy to negotiate if you have 3 dogs.

My home is close to parks and also Piha, so lots of walks will be included. I am close to local parks and a fully fenced agility park is a short drive away.

Motivation to be a pet sitter is that I know I would want to leave my own dog with someone who would treat him with care and love. That is what your dog will get when they stay a weekend with me.

Dogs would need to be up to date on vaccinations, neutered and be ok with other dogs.
