Hi I'm Rachel, I am a production assistant, freelance video editor in training. I have grown up with pets since I was two years of age. As family pets, I looked after my dog, a Golden Retriever for 15 years and my cat, a tabby Tortoiseshell for 19 years. This involved giving my cat heart pills everyday for 3 months.

I have been hired to walk other people's dogs before and have house sat both cats and dogs. I have interacted with senior dogs and young adolescent dogs and a mix of breeds, from Dachshund to Labrador. I am aware that each pet not only has their own personality and energy levels, but depending on their breed, will require interactions and routines that suit accordingly. For instance a Jack Russell may benefit from shorter walks over longer ones as a long walk may create back problems and injury depending on age and stamina.

I currently have two black cats called Billy and Joel, who are very chill and affectionate dudes. So as not to disturb their own sanctuary and peace of mind, I am unable to board or bring pets to my own home. I am available to walk, make house visits and house sit cats and dogs. I am able to walk dogs for half an hour once or twice a day or a fifty minute walk once a day.

Every owner and pet is unique which is why I find it easier to discuss details of care in person, for your pets individual needs and to ease your own concerns.
