I grew up with pets and love animals but we're unable to have our own at the moment. I live with my wife and toddler. We'd like to help out with people's pets and start teaching my son how to look after them properly.

I work from home and your dog can hang with me during the day, so they're not left alone. My son goes to daycare for most of the day, but any dog we look after will need to be okay with children. We have a small lawn, and it would suit calmer dogs best, rather than high energy ones needing space to run. We have a fully fenced section, but our neighbours are close by, so we can't take on a dog that barks a heap. Location wise we're not far from the beach and there's plenty of walkways and trails nearby.

I can do dog walks as well if I have availability. Happy to follow any routines you already have with your dog, like feeding times or naps. I have experience looking after dogs, including anxious dogs and ex rescue dogs. I'm comfortable working with dogs that need a bit of extra patience and a calm approach. As I work full time, your dog would need to be comfortable relaxing independently while I'm working or in meetings. They'll still have company throughout the day, but there may be times when I can't give them my full attention. 

I'm around most weekdays. We'll sort out exact timing together before booking.
