Hi, I'm Megan!

I've been house and pet sitting for over 6 years now and have had the opportunity to look after pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether they're anxious and shy, energetic with a high drive, or a complete couch potato who loves routine and a cuddle, I take the time to get to know each pet and tailor my care during each stay to their individual needs to make sure they feel safe and well cared for while you're away.

Most of my experience has been with dogs, but I have also cared for many cats, often in multi-pet households. Over the past 6 years, I've looked after anxious pets, reactive and dog-aggressive dogs, senior dogs and cats with arthritis and other little quirks that can come with getting older, pets with ongoing skin conditions and allergies, and high-drive working breeds who need a little extra stimulation, sturcture, and attention in their days.

I do my best to keep routines as close to normal day-to-day life as I can, so that pets feel as comfortable as possible with a new person in their home and giving owners peace of mind while they're away.

I currently live in Wellington working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to spend with the pets I care for - especially helpful for the pups who need a longer walk, play time, or training. I adapt to each house sit so that every pet is getting care and attention they need while their humans are away.

I aim to be reliable and communicative, and I tailor updates to what each owner prefers. I also have plenty of references which I'm more than happy to provide upon request for your own peace of mind :).
