I’m a lifelong animal lover and have been caring for pets and dog walking since I was 14, and I am 40 now! I have worked as a teacher and currently work at a local school, so I’m responsible, reliable and used to being trusted with the care of others. I’m also happy to provide excellent referees. I have been a dog owner, cat owner, as well as rabbits and guinea pigs. I offer home visits for cats and other pets while you are travelling or perhaps life is getting in the way. I can do dog walking, feeding, cuddles, playtime and general pet care. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routines and make sure they receive plenty of attention and companionship while you’re away. For high energy doggies I can offer adventure walks for up to 3 hours at different sites throughout the Waitakeres. I dont do pack walks. For dog walking I can also offer basic lead training and have experience in this space for those tricky doggies. I can also offer some extra help around your home while you’re away, bringing in mail, putting bins out, watering plants or taking care of other small household chores. I know it can be a huge reassurance to return home to a tidy, cared-for house! I can do house cleaning while you are away as well, cost depending on house size. Home Visit 1x20minute per day - Include pet care and attention, plant watering, letterbox and any other small things that need to be taken care of at home. I am able to administer medicine including injections if necessary. For cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish. Home visit 2 x 20 minute per day - As above. Dog Walking and training - Short walks - 30 minutes on-leash - Longer walks - 1 hour - on leash or off-leash available. - Adventure walks - up to 3 hours - off-leash available if trained. - Can offer training including leash training and recall.
