Hi there, I'm Caitlin and I would love to care for your pet(s)

I adore the company of animals and would treat your animal like our own family. We live with two ginger cats - Myrtle (Fluffy ginger) who we've taught to sit, and Maple (Short hair ginger) who can also sit but chooses not to. I enjoy getting out in nature, animals, and art.

Having now done a few Pawshake sits, I can say it is something I'd love to do more. 

I bring 15 years of experience with dogs and cats and about three years of experience with fish.

 I, along with my 13-year-old have recently started volunteering at a cat rescue so we have that extra experience in caring for cats of all ages. We also do casual volunteering for a Puppy rescue. Transport etc. And a small amount of experience between us with farm animals.

Most times I will have my 13-year-old with me. She grew up with our dog and is excellent with cats, she has a naturally calm way with animals and is very responsible. If you would prefer no children during visits I am happy to discuss. 

I have previously been a nanny, and all families have had pets that I also cared for. It's important to me that I build a trusting bond with your pet and they feel safe in a loving environment.

I held a responsible dog owner license for my dog, Flow. I have experience with senior dogs with medical needs. I am happy to take care of puppies, elderly dogs, and cats or even feed your fish, water your plants, bring in mail, and do other small tasks. Or simply pop in to check on and keep your pet company during the day. I am quite flexible with days/times. Feel free to message me to discuss.

Each pet is unique so I am happy to discuss unique needs. 

Visits can include

- Basic training, exercise, and playtime 

- Cleaning up after animals/renewing food & water

- Updates on how your pet is doing

- Dog walking at your choice of place, or one of the many fabulous dog walking areas in the neighborhood. 

- Dog care in our home. We have a warm home with fully fenced yard. Would prefer a dog that is good with cats - however we have the option of separating them easily. 

- Updates on how your pet is doing however often you like

We also have a fully enclosed outside (catio) 

I have a full NZ driver's license and will service Laingholm, Parau, Huia, and Titirangi. I am happy to discuss travelling to further suburbs but this may incur a fee.
