Hello! My name is Hannah Koumakis.

I’m a business owner and CEO based in Auckland, and alongside running my businesses I’ve always loved spending time with animals. I run a women’s community organisation called Dear Community and a wedding content creation business called Dear Brides. My work is very people-focused, and being responsible for teams, events, and partnerships means professionalism, reliability, and trust are a huge part of my day-to-day life. Those same qualities carry through to how I care for people’s homes and pets.

Animals have always been a big part of my life. When I was two years old my parents got me a cat after seeing how much I loved the neighbour’s cat, and since then I’ve always grown up with animals. Over the years we had several cats (including lots of kittens when we bred them), I trained and tamed cockatiel birds, and I currently live with a small dog who I take for daily walks.

When I was younger I actually ran my own little neighbourhood pet-sitting business where I would look after pets while families were away, walk dogs, and keep an eye on homes. I loved building relationships with both the pets and their owners and making sure animals felt safe, comfortable, and cared for while their families were gone.

These days I run my businesses and often work from home during the week, which gives me flexibility to spend time with pets during the day as well as mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Services I offer include:

Dog walking

A 30-minute walk to your local park or around your neighbourhood. I’m happy to walk dogs of any size and can also take them to the local beach if that’s something they enjoy.

House visits

During each visit I will feed your pet, spend time with them, check that everything in the house is in order, bring in mail, and ensure the home is secure when I leave. Visits are up to 30 minutes. I’m also happy to water plants if needed.

Pet sitting (overnight stays)

I can stay overnight in your home so your pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment and aren’t left alone. While staying I will look after your pets, keep an eye on the house, and collect mail.

Availability

Dog walking: evenings during the week and anytime on weekends.

Pet sitting and house visits: flexible depending on availability.

You can feel confident trusting your beloved pets with me. I’m responsible, organised, and genuinely love animals, so I will always treat your pets and home with the utmost care and respect.

Please note:

Meet and greets can absolutely be arranged beforehand. These are booked as a house visit to cover travel time.

Minimum booking for overnight pet sitting is two nights.
