Hi there, my name is Alex and I love the company of animals. I'm originally from Europe but have lived in New Zealand for 15+ years. Growing up in my hometown I volunteered at the local animal shelter to take the dogs for a walk so that they could get some exercise. Here in Auckland I have 2 precious furbabies at home: a fluffy cat Winston and a colorful cat Agatha. They love to follow me around the house and we spend a lot of quality time together, especially evening cuddles on the couch while watching TV. Although they are indoor cats, they both enjoy putting on their harness and going for little adventures in the backyard (fully fenced). 

I am looking for some doggy company when going for walks/runs on the weekend or when I work from home. I've done dog-sitting in the past and also look after my friends' pets when they're away. I'm up for any sort of adventure and love playing with dogs and giving them a fun time out! I live in the Onehunga area so there's Cornwall Park nearby and the Onehunga Wharf dog park for extra running and swimming, and maybe a hike or walk by the beach will be on the cards too! I have frisbees and tennis ball to play fetch. 

Any size or type of dog can become my new furry friend, ideally one that gets on with other dogs well for when we go out and socialize. Hopefully we can see each other on a recurring basis so we can form a bond and develop a routine. I work from home some days during the week (normally Monday & Friday) so can fit in a walk during the day/early evening, or available also on the weekends.
