Hi! I’m Sara, a Lower Hutt local who has recently moved back to New Zealand after living in London for the past few years. I’m a nurse and am currently pet sitting for the next month before starting my new job.

I’ve grown up around animals and have plenty of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently have one cat at home, Oscar, and have previously owned dogs, so I’m very comfortable caring for both.

Over the past year, I’ve also completed a number of pet and house sits through TrustedHousesitters in London and more recently in the USA. This has given me lots of recent experience caring for pets in their own homes and following their usual routines. I’m also happy to provide recent references.

I understand how important it is to know your pet is happy, safe and well cared for while you’re away. I’m responsible, attentive and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and any personal requirements to keep them safe and happy.

Services: Dog walking, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, companionship and general pet care. I’m also happy to administer medication and follow any specific care instructions.

Dog walks: 30–60 minutes, depending on your dog, with multiple walks per day if needed.

Boarding: I’m happy to board one pet at a time, so they get plenty of attention and care.

Time with pets: I’m currently between jobs, so I have lots of flexibility and can spend most of the day with pets. For boarding, I won’t leave pets alone for more than 3 hours.

Home: I live with Oscar, my cat. Guest pets are welcome inside the house and have access to our fully fenced backyard, with plenty of room to run around. Gates are secure.

I’m also happy to offer drop-in visits, dog walking or house sitting in your home. I’m flexible and happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and individual needs.
