Hi! My husband and I are huge dog lovers and really enjoy spending time with dogs of all breeds, personalities and energy levels. We know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is in good hands while you’re away, so we always do our best to make sure they feel happy, comfortable and right at home.

We have a German Shorthaired Pointer called Sika, who is super friendly and absolutely loves having other dogs around! He’s always up for making new friends, so your pup will have a furry companion to hang out with too. 🐾

Our weekends are usually spent getting out and exploring Auckland with Sika, whether that’s a forest adventure, beach trip, park walk or even a swim! Our outings typically range from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the dogs and what they’re comfortable with. Of course, we’re just as happy to have a relaxed day at home if that’s more your dog’s style.

We also really enjoy basic training and encouraging good behaviours using positive reinforcement, whether that’s rewarding with treats, food or play. We love incorporating mental stimulation into the day to keep dogs happy and entertained.

We’re mainly available on weekends, whether you’re heading away for a night or two or just need someone to look after your dog for the day. Dogs would only be left alone for a few hours at a time, so they’ll have plenty of company, attention and opportunities to get out and about.

Sika sleeps happily in his crate at night, and while we’d ideally love to welcome other crate-trained dogs, we’re flexible and happy to work around your dog’s usual sleeping arrangements so they feel as settled as possible.

We’d also make sure any new dogs are introduced to Sika gradually in a relaxed, supervised environment, giving them time to get comfortable with each other before settling in.

Most importantly, your dog will be treated like one of our own, with plenty of love, attention, adventures and cuddles while you’re away! ❤️🐶
