Hi! I'm Kirsty, and I'm 52 years old. I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and caring for pets has always been a big part of my life.

Over the years I've shared my home with all sorts of animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and chickens, so I'm comfortable looking after a wide range of pets and their individual personalities.

I completed an Animal Care Certificate through Unitec, and I also have many years of hands-on experience fostering animals. I've volunteered with an animal shelter and have fostered many rescue cats and kittens in my own home, including bottle-feeding tiny kittens, caring for sick or injured cats, and helping shy cats build their confidence before finding their forever homes.

I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, because they're family. I'll care for your pets as if they were my own, making sure they get lots of love, attention and the best care while you're away.

When I visit your pets, I like to spend a bit of quality time with them rather than just popping in to feed them and head off. Visits are usually around 30 minutes - giving food and fresh water, cleaning litter trays, and having some playtime, cuddles or just keeping them company—whatever makes them happiest.

I know how nice it is to know your pets are doing well while you're away, so I'll send you photos and a little update after each visit.

I'm very used to looking after homes with multiple pets, so whether you have one cat or a whole furry family, everyone will get the care and attention they need. Having owned and fostered many cats over the years, I'm confident caring for animals with different personalities and needs, and I'm comfortable giving medications if required.

If anything ever seems out of the ordinary, I'll get in touch with you straight away. Your pet's wellbeing always comes first, and if an emergency ever came up, I'd make sure they received the care they needed while keeping you informed every step of the way.
