Hi, I’m Yasmine, a genuine animal lover who is happiest spending time with dogs and cats and getting outdoors whenever I can.

I’ve always had a soft spot for animals. They bring a lot of happiness to my life, and I really enjoy getting to know their different personalities, routines and little quirks. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else can feel like a big thing, so my approach is to keep things reliable and as close to their normal routine as possible. I’ll treat your pets as individuals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

I offer dog walking and home visits, with the focus on giving your pet plenty of attention, company and care while you’re away or busy.

Dog walking: walks are 30 minutes and can be tailored to your dog’s age, energy level and needs. Whether they love a long walk and lots of exploring or prefer something more relaxed, I’m happy to work with their usual routine.

I’ve grown up with dogs and cats all my life and have plenty of experience walking friends’ and family’s dogs, so I’m comfortable with different sizes, personalities and energy levels.

Dog walks will take place around the local Kumeū/Huapai area, depending on what suits your dog. I’m close to Huapai Recreation Reserve, which has a 1.2 km walking path and areas where dogs can exercise off-leash. I’m also happy to keep walks closer to home or choose somewhere that suits your dog’s age, energy level and confidence. I’ll always follow the local dog access and leash rules and make sure your dog is comfortable and under control.

Home visits: I can visit your home once or twice a day while you’re away to feed your pets, refresh their water, give them some company and attention, and make sure they’re happy and settled. Visits can be tailored around your pet’s usual routine, and I’m happy to spend some time playing with them, giving them cuddles if they enjoy them, or simply keeping them company 🐾
