I work from home and am able to enjoy my daily work breaks doing a bit of gardening, taking a walk to our local cafe, having a quick pilates session and making yummy lunches. Hello my name is Maia. I am 19 years old and am located in Hamilton East. I am a student at the University of Waikato doing a Bachelors of Social Science majoring in Psychology, minoring in Education and Chinese. I am an enthusiastic about animals and would love to care for your fur babies while you or your family are unable to. 
I am an avid animal lover and understand how much animals are part of the family. I have two cats myself and have volunteered in animal shelters working with rescue dogs for about six years. I am well versed in walking dogs of all ages and sizes while also helping getting nervous dogs accustomed to people again while also fundraising to spread awareness about the importance of adopting rescue animals.

I have been living in Hamilton since I was 12. I grew up with pets all my life. I had fishes, rabbits, tortoises as pets growing up. I have a pet dog in my hometown. Unfortunately, when I moved to New Zealand, I had to leave her behind with my family. I miss her a lot. 
I work an office job where we have an office dog  (He definitely brightens our day at the office!). I am free to look after your pets and/or your home during weekends, public holidays, after hours or any other time/day outside of my office job during weekdays (8:30AM-5PM). Feel free to message me check in on what time/day would work best for me. Due to the sedentary lifestyle, it can get lonely and having a stagnant life. My name is Hollie and I am a qualified vet nursing assistant. I have a number of years experience with taking care of others pets, and have volunteered caring for cats and dogs at the SPCA. If you’re planning on going for a holiday etc. then I’m able to help out with home sitting, home visits, or dog walking! 

Some things that I have experience with and can offer include:

Pet feeding: I will happily give your pets their meals required and can also offer advice/recommend alternative foods/brands upon request.

Cleaning: I am happy to clean litter trays, poop scoop the yard, and clean up accidents, as well as general cleaning around the house when required.

Medications/Injuries: I am trained to give medications which are prescribed by a vet (including oral and injections) when needed. I will also contact the owner immediately in the event of any injuries or emergencies.

I will consistently keep you updated on how your pets are going and send photo updates daily!

I am currently a third year Law and Business student at the University of Waikato. I grew up in rural NZ and have always had a passion for all animals. 
In 2018 I moved to Thailand with the intentions of volunteering at a street dog rescue and rehabilitation centre for 8 weeks. I ended up loving it so much, I was asked to join the team officially, and ended up living in Hua Hin for nearly a year.
My responsibilities ranged from basic animal welfare of cats and dogs, such as grooming and feeding, educating the locals on the importance of desexing and even assisting in veterinarian operations as a vet nurse.
My biggest highlights from this experience were the daily feeding runs to the stray packs around our local temples, and of course, the daily beach walks for all the dogs in our care.
Here I learned invaluable skills and grew my knowledge in animal etiquette and care.
I am more than happy to have a sleep over with your babies,  check in on them throughout the day, or take them on a lovely walk. If their needs require a more relaxed environment or energetic runs to keep fit, i am happy to accommodate both.

I have been working with HAMILTON SPCA as a volunteer since October 2022 and I have worked with all kinds of dogs and I'm still doing it. I  walk dogs, clean there runs, give them training and exercise and of course lots of love.&nbsp;
I make sure they behave in a good manner and also keeps records of their progress. I have worked with lots of abused and bad behavior dogs and by giving them right amount of exercise and training they have been doing great since then.

My name is Mary, 22 years old based in Hamilton looking for furbabies to take care of! I have 3 rescue cats of my own but unfortunately they stay at my parents just due to the fact that my current rental does not allow pets, this means I do not have the facilities for pets to be at the property I reside in.
I currently work full time at a dairy factory which is rostered 4 days on and 4 days off. During those 4 days, I have a lot of free time and so I thought why not do something I would totally enjoy? 
I grew up in the Philippines where I had cats and a dog (even doves), when we moved to New Zealand 14 years ago we lived in the dairy farm for 9 years during this time we had a dog name Poochie, a bunccchh of chickens(one was named Lady Gaga), rabbits (the cute minilops ones), a pet lamb named Hope where I competed in Calf Club in my local primary school, and a cat named Ming Ming.
We have now moved in the hustling and bustling city of Hamilton but in saying that I am available for pet sitting at your (owner's house), dog walks at neighby parks and home visits (just as long as its within Hamilton). I have a reliable transport so no worries with me getting around. &nbsp;&nbsp;

I love animals! Especially dogs, I am experienced with dogs as I have it myself. I also love cats, but I am not really experienced with them as I am still sometimes scared to be scratched. But it does not stop me from being a pet sitter for cats though!
&nbsp;I have been wanting to be a pet sitter since I was in high school as it will be a source of income, but also I love doing it! I've had a passion for dogs since I was young. I spent last summer in Alaska working as a sled dog handler.
