I am responsible, pragmatic, late 30s, female. I understand how hard it is to get away from home when you have your own animals, especially with large animals (horses) as I have owned my own for decades. My experience has led to mainly sitting for horses, dogs and cats; I have cared for donkeys, sheep, cows, indoor birds, chooks, ducks, fish and frogs as well. I have predominantly sat for friends, colleagues, neighbours, and friends of those people in the past, where there is a personal connection and trust established. I prefer to meet in person prior to committing to dates so everyone is happy and your requirements are clearly understood. I work from home so can be present in your home - and if it suits you and your property, I am open to bringing my horses along! One requirement for my work is a consistent internet connection. I have horses for enjoyment, as a hobby and exercise. I am a trained and qualified barefoot trimmer and have extensive biomechanics training (in-hand/on the ground and in the saddle). I follow holistic methods and fair training that encourages them to move biomechanically correctly. I am open to short-, medium- and long-term stays; please contact me to discuss your requirements. I am not able to host pets in my own home. I have my own transport, including the ability to transport your pets to a vet in an emergency. I do ask for a written list of all animals and their feed/exercise/care requirements, emergency contacts and vet contacts. Day visits accepted, please ask (I can't always fit them in so don't have that option turned on by default).
