ABOUT ME: Kia ora! I'm Luna and I'm a postgraduate student at The University of Waikato. My husband and I are a child-free couple & used to have two furbabies in the Philippines. Since Philippines in not in the approved list of NZ to transport pets from, we couldn't get them here YET because we need to save up for full pet migration agency service. Our babies are Aloy (female, local Filipino dog breed) and Kylo (a mixed breed Beagle and Bully; unfortunately, he died just last October 17, 2024 due to blood parasitism and it broke our hearts totally).

MOTIVATION: While saving up funds to get Aloy. here in NZ, I'm looking to channel my love for furbabies here and earn some extra income through dogsitting. I also wish to do this as part of honoring Kylo's life. It would be nice to help families take care of their furbabies while they are away of have some other tasks to attend to in a day. It would be a great pleasure for me.

NEIGHBORHOOD: I live in Hamilton East and have a good neighborhood and clean pathwalks for dog walks. It is accessible to nearby parks like Galloway Park, Steele Park, and all the way to Hayes Paddock and the river walk.

AVAILABILITY: I'm relatively free during the Summer break, and can be available late afternoons and evenings during the semester.
