I am a pet sitter because I care deeply about animals and know that it can be very stressful having to go away and leave your pet behind. 

I am currently a student at the University of Otago studying zoology and ecology, and before that I did an NCEA level 3 certificate in animal care at Weltec and Whitirea in 2023. During my time in animal care, I was taught how to administer basic medications (e.g. eye, ear, oral, injections), practiced grooming, animal handling, nutrition, exercise, and animal welfare. 

My walks are usually around 40 minutes to 1 hour, however I am happy to adjust accordingly to your pet's needs. 

Most of my experience is with dogs, but I am happy to take care of any pet - I personally grew up with resuce dogs and have taken care of them by myself. I have experience taking care of a wide variety of dogs - who may be anxious, require medication, young, elderly, overreactive, hard of hearing, need a lot of mental stimulation, active, etc. So, if you have any inquires or specific requests for your pet, please don't hesitate to contact me.
