Hi! My name is Lucy, I'm 21 years old and I'm a recent graduate of Otago University. My degree was in theatre studies and dance so I'm a fairly active and perfomative person

I've spent my entire life with all kinds of animals: Dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, bunnies, chickens and even rats! My mother works as a vet nurse (and is also on Pawshake too!) so being raised by her has also allowed me to meet many different animals and know how to take care of each of them

I'm open to caring for animals in whatever way works best for you! I'm happy to talk about what you need and accommodate to your requests. In terms of experience I've taken my own two dogs on walks many times usually at minimum 30 minutes and I always make sure to cut up dog roll for their meals. I have experience feeding medicine to dogs and cats in pill or liquid form too!

I'm happy to care for almost any animals and I know my way around many but if there is one im unfamiliar with, I will ask for any tips or guidance and hope you'll be understanding. I'm very familiar with common ways to keep animals feeling safe such as respecting their space and not acting imposing or threatening 

I'm currently unemployed so my schedule is very free! My time in performing arts has drilled punctuality into me so I also make sure to show up on time, early ideally!
