Kia ora! I'm Ava an ecology and zoology student at the university of Otago, I love all things animals and have been missing my pets lately, hence why I've joined pawshake.

I am available to pet sit anywhere in Dunedin or where I could get a bus to (including Queenstown, Wānaka, te anau, etc) I am very outdoorsy and love a dog to take on my adventures, which can be as long or short depending on the animals needs, I usually would walk for an hour, but could be 30mins or 2hrs, whatever is needed! But also appreciate a quiet night in cuddled up with a pet.

I've grown up around animals in a rural setting and have house sat for friends and family before. I have looked after a variety of animals from donkeys, to dogs, to ducks. I'm good with nervous animals, and can handle tricky situations well, and have had some hands on experience with wounded animals, include looking after injured horses and a dog before.

I charge as cheap as possible as I'm not in it for the money rather just to have some time with some pets while I'm away from home studying.

I'm pretty open to pet sitting whatever animal, with whatever needs.

I handle day to day chores professionally, and can cater to whatever your pet needs. I'm studying so can do chores anytime. I wake up fairly early so can do morning walks, and feed out, I've had fussy animals in the past so happy to cater with any feeding preferences. I have looked after both big dogs and small dogs, and high and low energy, so happy with whatever you need.
