Hello! I'm Johanna!

Before I moved to Dunedin from Wellington I walked my neighbours dog and my landlords dog as a favour to them and because I love walking and adore the company of pets. I love watching dogs have the chance to excersise their curiosity and be the silly little munchkins they are. I realised that through walking other peoples dogs I could help people and their dogs by this simple means. Being able to help others, human or animal, gives me a deep sense of purpose and meaning.

I walk 2-3 hours a day with my Jack Russell whom I can walk with your dog as well if they enjoy the company or I can walk your dog/s by themselves. I have experience with all temperament of dog, shy, reactive, anxious you name it. If you have a dog with mobility issues such as arthritis I will take it as slow as is required for the dogs comfort.

 I have a keen understanding of a dogs needs and communication style. When I walk a dog my main concern is the dog's requirements. I let them sniff to their little doggy hearts content and pee on every erected post they might find. This is about them and the opportunity for them to explore and be adventurous in a safe enviroment. I can walk them to the beach, the park or even through town if they enjoy a spot of shopping now and again! I will walk them off or on lead where permitted. 

I will walk them from as little as 30 minutes to 3 hours. 

Rest assured, when I walk your dog they will rest easy as will you!
