Hi, I’m Marty! 👋

I grew up on a lifestyle block in the Bay of Plenty, so I’ve always been around animals and have plenty of experience caring for all sorts of pets. Growing up with animals taught me how important it is to be patient, responsible and attentive to their individual needs and personalities.

I currently live in Albany and am happy to pet sit across the Auckland region. My parents have Sammy, a little Jack Russell, and I also lived with Lexi, a Spoodle, for four years — so I’m very comfortable around dogs and really enjoy their company.

I’m currently in between roles in Corporate Finance, which gives me plenty of flexibility and the opportunity to spend lots of time looking after your pets. For walks, I’m happy to do around 30–60 minutes depending on your dog’s age, energy levels and usual routine. Home visits can include feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, walks and plenty of company. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, medication and any other specific instructions you provide.

I’ll make sure pets aren’t left alone for longer than you’re comfortable with, and I’ll keep your home secure by locking doors and windows, keeping keys safe and making sure everything is as you left it.

I’m reliable, caring and genuinely enjoy being around animals. I’d love the opportunity to look after your pets and give you peace of mind while you’re away.
